We have a dream : to become one of the best builders in Romania, without however waiving our basic principles of earnestness, quality, humanity.

We set off persuaded that the construction industry has got a huge potential in Romania. Technically speaking, we have a country to rebuild – both in the public sector and in the private one. Nonetheless, competition is fierce and, in order to succeed, M.I.S. Grup could not have been some other construction company, alongside thousands more. We understood from the very beginning that we had to be different, to offer something that could differentiate us. And we chose to have principles and standards from which not to deviate, no matter what !

Earnestness is one of them : when we build something, nothing is left to chance, in any phase of the works.

Quality is another principle from which we do not deviate : we have learnt that something made in a solid way becomes a benchmark and brings forth other projects, not to mention the beneficiaries’ satisfaction.

Humanity is however the principle that best characterises us : we build personal relationships with our clients, with our partners, with our employees, with the local community. We have patience, we have the necessary force and resources, we are open-hearted, in order to help everybody and please everybody.

Founded in 1999, M.I.S. Grup is a classical family business, which already mingles the expertise, the flair and the enthusiasm of three generations. The company’s centre remains senior Emil Iugan.
At first, M.I.S. Grup was a business in the forest industry, aiming at best valorising the local wood resources available in this rich area of Transylvania. As the forest exploitation activity supposed certain construction works, especially roads, the company accepted the challenge and created an in-house division for constructions. It wasn’t long before this division took its flight, came up with works outside the company, as well, and eventually became the main business line of M.I.S. Grup.
In 20 years of activity, the company has become one of the most important constructors of Transylvania, with a portfolio comprising more than 300 works completed in several European countries, with 150 employees, with an impressive fleet of machines and vehicles, with yearly incomes of nearly 20 million euros.

The most precious component of M.I.S. Grup’s architecture is represented by the employees. A team of approximately 150 hardworking determined people, who have fully embraced the company’s values and, technically speaking, are carrying the business on their shoulders. Without machines it would be very hard for a modern construction company, but without people there would be nothing ! Engineers, architects, economists, university students, foremen, trade specialists, drivers or unskilled workers – they all form a united team, which always finds the best and quickest solutions to the projects under development.

M.I.S. Grup’s own infrastructure is as such as the company could operate under best conditions.

Firstly, in Anieș we have our administrative offices, where we make the major decisions, where we prepare the offers, the auctions, where the accountancy, marketing or financial departments are operating. In addition, a large part of the company’s logistical operations are carried out around the offices, on a few hectare platform.

Then, M.I.S. Grup’s most important storehouse for construction materials is in Rodna. On an approximately 2 ha industrial platform we store and prepare the materials, in order to be delivered to working sites.

But the heart of the company is in Măgura Ilvei, where we operate a stone quarry, a concrete station and an asphalt mixtures station.
The concrete station – a complex assembly of cutting-edge pieces of equipment, created in November 2018, which produces various types of high quality concrete for the company’s working sites and also for third parties, with a 70 cm/h yield.
The asphalt mixtures station – a recent investment (August 2018), which took the company to a higher level of output and quality from the road construction viewpoint. With a 160 to/h yield, M.I.S. Grup’s asphalt station is one of the most modern and high-efficiency ones in the region.
All these departing points, intermediary points or arrival points are distinct activities, operated as a whole, in a continuous flexible chain of operations, subject to the needs and to the orders.

The company is equipped with a vehicle fleet composed of 42 registered motor vehicles for work and 38 motor vehicles for work (various machines) that do not require registration. M.I.S. Grup’s motor vehicles, machines and equipment for work are cutting-edge and represent a force in themselves for the good operation of the business. 10 new machines for asphalt and stone transportation have recently arrived to our company – an approx. EUR 2 mn investment.
