‘Bistrița Aquapark’ is a project begun in 2017, when the Town Hall approved the construction of an aquatic recreational complex, next to the Wonderland ski track. The project has got two development stages : first of all – the field arrangement, the insertion of the necessary infrastructure, the open air construction of two exterior pools and of three sport courts, the construction of a building with interior pools ; the latter stage will comprise two more open air pools. The investment totals up around EUR 12 million. In 2020, M.I.S. Grup contracted the first phase of the project (approx. EUR 8.3 million) and began the works.
